Surprise - March 19, 2018

Another week has passed!

It's crazy to think that 6 weeks has already passed. 4 transfers down, 11 more to go! Crazy. Lots has happened this week. Lots of exciting things, and lots of sad surprises.

The most exciting thing that happened this week... We met with our referral and had a wonderful lesson! Ahhh it was great. He had lots of questions, wants to know more, and has a genuine interest. We taught the fill restoration and the spirit was strong. He attends another local church here but wanted to check out ours. We taught the lesson with our ward mission leader. Afterwards we were so happy and full of energy. Right now we have set the date for his baptism and we are working with him. He is awesome. I am glad I had the chance to teach him.

We also had the chance to work with several of the youth this week. We have grown so close with them. We have good friendships, that's for sure.

I have grown to love this area. I LOVE the people I serve and I love those that I teach. This area has people who are ready to come close to Christ. Sadly, I received news yesterday that I am being transferred. I am truly heartbroken that I was only here for 6 weeks. But, I know that the Lord needs me in Decatur. It is the Lords will, not mine. I am excited to serve and be with the people of Decatur.

I am truly thankful for the friendships I have made here in Trophy Club and Roanoke. A little piece of my heart will always be here. I am excited for Sister Booth and the opportunity she has to train. This is the place to train, that is for sure. She has been a fantastic companion and I love her dearly. We will serve again together. I'm sure of it. Well y'all there isn't much to report on this week. I will talk to y'all next week and send more pictures.

Love,
Sister Gray

Sister Gray was pretty sad about leaving Roanoke,
I told her to go buy herself something pretty
to take with her, this is what she bought.
Aunt Denise was super proud! ! !
